Nature and organic forms are a constant source of inspiration in the design of the human environment and the relationship between nature and the various design disciplines
is core to the works of Niccolò Poggi The “organic model” inspired by nature, with its forms, structures, and organising principles not only inspires the widest range of concepts and designs, but can also be expressed across the broad spectrum of form and function.
His work do not simply depict or imitate organic forms but use them as a starting point and reservoir of inspiration for eclectic and innovative responses to the relationship between man and his environment.
To create his unique design, Niccolò Poggi starts with either a two-dimensional hand drawing,or a three-dimensional computer model. This is then modeled by hand using materials such as clay, wood or plaster. This is the moment of creation, a moment in which sensations become reality. Once the design is finalizes, models are created for production by artisans based in Florence, who make each piece by hand, adding their own individual touch to the finished product.
